Poker Parlour
The other side of the evening.
Harbour Parlour's poker experience takes place entirely in person, around physical tables in our evening parlour. A discreet room behind the dining area, open only to guests aged 18 and over. No screens, no online play, no wagering through the website. The same hospitality and attention to detail as the restaurant, carried into the card room.
The Room
Behind the dining room
The parlour is a separate room at the back of Harbour Parlour, reached through the main dining area. It is furnished with dark walnut tables, leather chairs, and brass lamps, and it operates only during scheduled table nights. The room seats up to 24 guests across three tables. No poker is played outside of scheduled table nights, and the space is closed to non-players during play.
Service
The parlour is an extension of the restaurant's hospitality. Guests can order from a limited evening menu and the full cocktail list before and during play, and the same dress code and conduct standards apply. Table service is available throughout the evening. The cocktail list features low-ABV and non-alcoholic options, and staff are trained in both hospitality and game supervision.
The Game
One game, played well
Harbour Parlour hosts Texas Hold'em only. It is a community-card game where each player receives two private cards and shares five community cards to make the best five-card hand. No other poker variants are offered. The game is dealer-led, with a professional dealer at each table. All play is for entertainment; no wagering beyond the table-night entry.
Two cards are dealt face down to each player, followed by the first round of betting.
Three community cards are revealed, followed by another round of betting.
The final community card is revealed, followed by the last round of betting and the showdown.
First-Time Guests
First-time guests are welcome. Arrive 15 minutes early for a brief orientation with the floor manager, who will explain the flow of play, table etiquette, and the evening's structure. No prior poker experience is required. The orientation covers hand rankings and betting basics, and guests may watch a few hands before taking a seat.
Table Nights
The weekly rhythm
Doors open 30 minutes before each seating for check-in. Each seating lasts approximately three hours and includes a short intermission.
Capacity
Each table seats eight players, and the parlour holds three tables. Seats are assigned on a first-requested, first-confirmed basis, and all requests require venue confirmation. Maximum 24 players per seating. Guests may request to sit with friends, but it is not guaranteed. A waitlist is maintained for each seating.
