Old Montréal · Québec · Canada

A modern parlour with Old Montréal character.

Harbour Parlour is a house of two rooms: a dining room that celebrates Québec's land and sea, and a private salon where Texas Hold'em is played in person, never online.

The restaurant dominates the experience, with a menu rooted in contemporary Canadian and Québec-inspired cuisine. The poker parlour is a quiet, physical space for evening social play, with no online gambling or wagering functionality. All requests are subject to venue confirmation.

The Harbour

Our Founding Inspiration

The Waterfront's Influence

The harbour is our compass. Its evening light, the rhythm of the St. Lawrence, and the stone quays of Old Montréal shape everything from our menu to our room's architecture. The design palette draws from limestone walls, dark walnut timber, and brass fittings, echoing the port's industrial elegance. The menu reflects the harbour's bounty: seafood, grill, and Québec-inspired dishes that change with the seasons. The atmosphere is calm and considered, like the waterfront at dusk.

A Modern Parlour, Not a Museum

We are not a historic institution. Harbour Parlour is a contemporary creation that honours Old Montréal's character without pretending to be a relic. The brand story is fictional, designed to evoke the spirit of the neighbourhood rather than claim a false heritage. Every detail, from the logo's anchor-and-rope motif to the floor-plan-inspired grids, is a deliberate modern interpretation. The result is a space that feels timeless but entirely new.

The Kitchen

A Contemporary Canadian Table

Rooted in Québec, Open to the World

Our kitchen is grounded in Québec's terroir—seafood from the St. Lawrence, produce from local farms, and techniques that respect the seasons—while embracing contemporary Canadian influences. The menu changes regularly to reflect what's fresh and available. Dishes are refined but unpretentious, designed for sharing and conversation. The grill and raw bar are central to the dining experience.

The Dining Room as a Stage

The dining room is designed to feel like a well-set table in a private home, with limestone walls, dark walnut timber, and brass details that catch the evening light. The room is intimate but not cramped, with architectural splits that create distinct zones. Lighting is warm and low, encouraging guests to linger. The open kitchen adds a sense of theatre without being noisy.

Cocktails and Wine

The bar program complements the kitchen with classic cocktails, a curated wine list, and a focus on Québec spirits. Cocktails are balanced and seasonal, using local ingredients where possible. The wine list favours small producers from Canada and abroad. The bar is a destination in its own right, open late into the evening.

The Table

A Private Salon for In-Person Play

Texas Hold'em, In Person Only

Behind the dining room, a private salon hosts Texas Hold'em table nights. All play is in person, at physical tables, with no online poker, casino, or wagering functionality. Table nights are scheduled events, not continuous gambling. Players request a seat; all requests are subject to venue confirmation. The salon is designed for focused, social play in a refined setting.

In person only

The Salon's Atmosphere

The poker salon is quieter than the dining room, with deep navy walls, dark walnut tables, and muted burgundy accents. It feels like a private club, not a casino. No bright casino green, neon, or generic gambling imagery. Lighting is low and focused on the tables. The space is separate from the dining room, offering a distinct evening experience.

The Night

An Evening at Harbour Parlour

From Dinner to Late Night

An evening at Harbour Parlour unfolds gradually: a relaxed dinner in the dining room, cocktails at the bar, and perhaps a seat at a poker table in the private salon. The venue is open late, with hours extending to 2:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. The transition from dining to nightlife is seamless, with the same level of service and attention. Guests can choose to stay for one part of the evening or the whole experience.

The Harbour Light

As the evening deepens, the room's lighting shifts to a warm, harbour-inspired glow, with brass details catching the light like reflections on the water. The design uses harbour-light accents sparingly to create a sense of warmth without overwhelming. The atmosphere is sophisticated and calm, never loud or chaotic. It's a place for conversation, not just consumption.

A House for All Evenings

Whether you come for a quiet dinner, a celebratory cocktail, or a focused poker game, Harbour Parlour offers a distinct experience for every kind of evening. The restaurant is the heart of the venue, with the poker parlour as a complementary offering. Private dining and events are available for those seeking a more exclusive experience. All guests must be 18 or older.

The Manifesto

We believe in the harbour's quiet power: the way it brings people together, the way it holds both work and leisure, the way it reflects the sky at dusk.

Our house is built on that belief—a place where food, drink, and play coexist in harmony. We honour Old Montréal's character without imitating it, creating something new from its stone and light. Every evening is an invitation to slow down, savour, and connect.

The Rooms

A Floor-Plan Tour

The Dining Room

The main dining room is the heart of the house, with limestone walls, dark walnut tables, and brass details. It seats up to 60 guests in a warm, intimate setting. The room is divided into zones for quiet dinners and larger groups. An open kitchen adds a sense of theatre. The design echoes Old Montréal's architectural character.

The Bar

The bar is a long, dark walnut counter with brass fittings, offering classic cocktails and a curated wine list. It's a destination for pre-dinner drinks or late-night conversation. The bar program focuses on Québec spirits and seasonal ingredients. Seating at the bar is limited, encouraging a lively but intimate atmosphere. The bar remains open late, aligning with the venue's hours.

The Poker Salon

The private poker salon is tucked behind the dining room, with deep navy walls, dark walnut tables, and muted burgundy accents. It hosts Texas Hold'em table nights in person only. The salon is separate from the dining room, offering a distinct evening experience. No online poker or gambling occurs; all play is at physical tables. The space is designed for focused, social play.

The People

Our Fictional Team

A Collective of Hosts

Harbour Parlour is run by a small team of hospitality professionals who share a love for Old Montréal, good food, and the social ritual of poker. The team is fictional, created to embody the venue's values. Each member brings expertise in either the kitchen, the bar, or the poker salon. The team's goal is to make every guest feel like a regular.

Hospitality First

Our approach is simple: treat every guest as if they were a friend visiting our home. That means attentive service, honest food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Service is warm but unobtrusive. The menu is designed to be shared and enjoyed at a leisurely pace. The poker salon maintains the same standard of hospitality, with clear rules and a respectful environment.
